Oven-Baked BBQ Ribs
You don’t need a grill to make these fall off
the bone ribs. All you need for this recipe is my sweet and spicy rub and a bit
of slow cooking.
You
will need:
1 Rack Pork Ribs
Salt & pepper
Rub (See recipe,
bottom of page)
Hickory Smoke BBQ Sauce (See recipe,
bottom of page) or your favorite BBQ Sauce
Directions
Start off by cleaning your ribs under cold
water. With a knife trim off the thick, white skin from back of rib bones. Salt
and pepper both sides of ribs and then add rub. Take time to massage the rub
into the meat, this will ensure a more flavorful product. Place seasoned ribs
on a ½ sheet pan lined with aluminum foil. Cover meat in aluminum foil and marinate
for at least an hour or overnight.
Preheat oven to 3750 . Place ribs
into preheated oven and cooked, covered for about 60 minutes. Uncover your ribs
and brush on the Hickory Smoke BBQ Sauce or one of your favorite BBQ sauces.
Allow to cook for 15 to 30 more minutes. To check the doneness of your ribs,
look to see if the meat has pulled back from the bones. Remove ribs from oven
and allow them to rest for about ten minutes. Lastly, slice and serve with
extra BBQ sauce.
